PLAYISM announced it will publish “super-condensed” action adventure game 34EVERLAST by Kanata Lab and HYPER REAL in 2024. The announcement was made during PLAYISM Game Show.
In 34EVERLAST, players blast through a 10-minute 3D action adventure title with no game overs. The game includes over 30 routes that may be completed to reach the true ending. Steam users will experience this title first in 2024, and more details were revealed about the game’s story.
End of the World in 34EVERLAST
A young girl signals the end of the world in 34EVERLAST. In order to survive, the player must end “parallel worlds that refuse to die” in levels that combine action adventure and escape puzzle elements. While completing routes, players will learn more about the young girl and why these worlds may end.
The game will support English, Japanese, and Simplified Chinese language options. Thus far, 34EVERLAST is confirmed for a 2024 release on Steam. Additional platforms are to be determined according to PLAYISM.
Here’s a message from Kanata Lab developer Ogami, courtesy of PLAYISM:
Hello, I’m Ogami from Kanata Lab.
The idea behind 34EVERLAST is to make an action-adventure game that can provide a dense experience in a short period of time.
In this game, you’ll fight in a world that keeps looping, and gradually unravel a grand story and its mysteries.
The story splits according to the player’s choices, and the possibilities are endless, which guarantees that the game is just as fun no matter how many times you play it.
A game that you can play even on your busiest days and still be deeply moving and grant a huge sense of accomplishment—that’s 34EVERLAST.
I’ll continue to post development updates on the Twitter account, so please check it out. I’ll do my best!
