    PLAYISM Game Show Livestream Announced for August 20

    Featuring news on PLAYISM's upcoming titles.

    Japanese indie publisher PLAYISM announced that PLAYISM Game Show will return on August 20 with a livestream featuring several updates on upcoming games. These titles include EDEN.schemata() and the previously announced Phantom Rose 2 Sapphire.

    Before PLAYISM Game Show, the company showcased its titles at the INDIE Live Expo 2023 and BitSummit Let’s Go!! events. PLAYISM will once again showcase its games to fans around the world, and PAX West 2023 attendees will be able to try out select titles on the show floor. 

    PLAYISM Game Show

    The upcoming PLAYISM Game Show livestream is set for August 20 at 6 a.m. PDT on PLAYISM’s YouTube channel. Fans can expect more news about upcoming titles that are planned for release from fall 2023 and beyond. According to PLAYISM, the live stream will be roughly an hour long. The show is hosted by MC Chiaki Matsuzawa and PLAYISM representative Shunji Mizutani.

    Here’s the confirmed list of titles, courtesy of PLAYISM:

    • EDEN.schemata();, a hand-drawn sci-fi mystery adventure game filled with amnesia, murder, and intrigue developed by WSS playground (DRAINUS, NEEDY STREAMER OVERLOAD) and illuCalab (Alice Escaped!).
    • The Star Named EOS, an emotionally charged point-and-click narrative puzzle game by Silver Lining Studio. Capture photographs and step back in time to help a young photographer investigate his mother’s disappearance and rediscover the everyday beauty latent in our world.
    • Phantom Rose 2 Sapphire, the roguelike deckbuilder by developer and artist makaroll. Help Aria defend her cherished school, now beset by evil creatures, with powerful cards. Unlike other card games, Phantom Rose has no random card draw. Manage card cooldowns to quickly overwhelm foes!
