The Encouragement of Climb anime and manga series will receive a new game titled Encouragement of Climb: Next Summit – Ano Yama ni, Mou Ichido according to new retail listings. The new title will release on both Nintendo Switch and PlayStation 4.
In the Encouragement of Climb series, protagonist Aoi and her childhood friend Hinata explore the wonders of mountain climbing. The duo are joined by other friends who have shown their curiosity for mountain climbing, including Kaede, Kokona, Honoka, and Koharu. Soon, players will be able to experience the series in video game form.
Encouragement of Climb: Next Summit
Entergram’s Encouragement of Climb: Next Summit – Ano Yama ni, Mou Ichido is listed on Amazon Japan and Biccamera as an “adventure board game” according to Gematsu. The game will launch on December 7 for Nintendo Switch and PlayStation 4 in Japan. The standard edition costs 8,778 yen, and the limited edition costs 14,728 yen. Limited edition contents include an acrylic diorama, B2-size tapestry, and soundtrack CD.

Story
We fulfilled that promise. What lies ahead for Hinata and me…?
After climbing Mount Tanigawa, the mountain of their promise, Aoi gets an idea: “I want to try climbing the mountains I’ve already climbed, again.”
By doing so, she might just be able to grow a little more… and besides, if she climbs with everyone she has not gone with yet, she might get to see a different view this time.
Hinata: “Why not?”
Kaede: “There are mountains we haven’t climbed together.”
Kokona: “I also want to climb the mountains we’ve done before, again.”
Honoka: “I want to go…!”
