WSS Playground and Bukiri Clock announced that Boyhood’s End Episode 1 has been delayed to fall 2023 for PC via Steam. The developers also shared a special message to fans about the delay during INDIE Live Expo 2023: Summer Spotlight.
Boyhood’s End is a story-rich puzzle adventure game set in a world is ruled by a mechanical overlord. R. Karellen. This antagonist rates people with a “human score” that encompasses academic and professional careers, romantic interests, one’s daily meals, and so much more. The first episode was originally slated to release in August 2023, but a delay pushes the game into later this fall.
Boyhood’s End Episode 1 Delayed
Episode 1 of Boyhood’s End was delayed to improve the overall quality of the game according to WSS Playground and Bukiri Clock. The developers behind Boyhood’s End are extremely passionate about releasing a high-quality game and hope fans look forward to playing it later this fall. Bukiri Clock’s Tobita shared a message to fans regarding the delay and apologizes for the delay. Additionally, a new trailer was shown at INDIE Live Expo 2023.

“I’m very sorry for the delayed release! Right now, I’m having the best time of my life as a creator,” said Tobita. “This game is full of all kinds of challenges. From the setting, the art, the characters, to the story… Every day, from morning to night, I put in my whole soul into development. And now I’m behind schedule! So we have to postpone release. But it’s not something I can help. I must continue working on the game until I’m fully satisfied with it. The producer is probably crying right now, but I’ll just have to make him wait! So please keep looking forward to the game!”
Lastly, Boyhood’s End Episode 1 launches this fall for PC via Steam.
