UserJoy and Nihon Falcom have released a brand-new trailer for The Legend of Heroes: Trails of Cold Steel Northern War, a new mobile game based on the recent anime. The trailer highlights several scenes from the anime before introducing some of the playable characters.
In The Legend of Heroes: Trails of Cold Steel Northern War, players experience the events of the Northern War, which took place after The Legend of Heroes: Trails of Cold Steel II and before The Legend of Heroes: Trails of Cold Steel III. The story is told through the perspective of Lavian Winslet, the protagonist of The Legend of Heroes: Trails of Cold Steel Northern War and a member of the Northern Jaegers. The upcoming mobile game will feature Lavian and her fellow North Ambrian comrades as playable characters during one of the most trying times in Zemuria’s history.
The new trailer for The Legend of Heroes: Trails of Cold Steel Northern War showcases S-Crafts from some of the franchises most prominent characters. These characters include Joshua Bright, Tio Plato, Elie MacDowell, Princess Alfin Reise Arnor, and Claire Rieveldt. Further details about the title, including the playable roster at launch and main story quests, were not revealed. Pre-registration is still live for the Android and iOS versions at the official website, however.

Currently, over 200,000 users have pre-registered for The Legend of Heroes: Trails of Cold Steel Northern War. Players will earn various bonus rewards at launch for meeting the pre-registration goal, including Mira and gacha tickets. At 500,000 pre-registrations, players will earn tons of Mira and Septium alongside playable character Elie MacDowell.
Lastly, The Legend of Heroes: Trails of Cold Steel Northern War is coming soon to Android and iOS in Japan.
