Koei Tecmo and Kou Shibusawa announced a new update for Nobunaga’s Ambition: Awakening will add a Japanese voice audio to the English release. The feature was highly requested by fans according to a statement released by Koei Tecmo shortly after the release of Nobunaga’s Ambition: Awakening.
According to Nobunaga’s Ambition: Awakening game director and producer Michi Ryu, Japanese voice audio support was highly requested by English players. As a result, the development team decided to add a Japanese voice audio option to Nobunaga’s Ambition: Awakening on all platforms. A new Nobunaga’s Ambition: Awakening update is currently in the works, so Ryu hopes fans are patient and stay tuned for more information.

Currently, Nobunaga’s Ambition: Awakening is available in both standard and digital deluxe editions. Digital deluxe edition contents includes the full Nobunaga’s Ambition: Awakening game, officer artbook (Japanese version), Nobunaga’s Ambition 40th Anniversary Commemorative Book (Japanese version), complete soundtrack, the exclusive “Muskets Arrive” scenario, and the Nobunaga’s Ambition 40th Anniversary “Officer Face Graphics and Additional Traits” set. Players who purchase the game digitally until August 2 will also receive the early purchase bonus “Battle of Tetorigawa” scenario entitled.
