    Master Detective Archives: RAIN CODE Update 1.3.0 Now Available

    Spike Chunsoft announced the Master Detective Archives: RAIN CODE version 1.3.0 update is now available on Nintendo Switch. The day one patch brings various improvements to the game, including audio and text bug fixes.

    Master Detective Archives: RAIN CODE update 1.3.0 brings a variety of adjustments to the game and a “Launch to eShop” feature, allowing players to buy upcoming DLC while the game is running. Several adjustments have been made to audio, in-game graphics, and text to round out the overall player experience. Further, Spike Chunsoft applied various bug fixes to remedy any lingering issues from the pre-launch version 1.2.0 update.

    Master Detective Archives: RAIN CODE Update 1.3.0

    • Minor text fixes
    • Adjusted voice and sound effects
    • Adjusted certain maps, characters, and graphics
    • Adjusted certain events and text overlaps
    • Various bug fixes
    • Launch to eShop functionality (note that this is required for DLC)

    In the Master Detective Archives: RAIN CODE, Yuma Kokohead (Lucien Dodge) and Shinigami (Anjali Kunapaneni) enter Kanai Ward and begin their investigation into a grand mystery. Players will uncover clues in the game’s Investigation and Mystery Labyrinth sequences. As Yuma, players will search for clues known as Solution Keys and make progress in solving a mystery. Eventually, Yuma and Shinigami will have enough clues to enter a Mystery Labyrinth and pursue the truth of the case.

    Master Detective Archives: RAIN CODE players may also look forward to brand-new figures of protagonist Yuma Kokohead and Shinigami. Good Smile Company recently announced that Pop Up Parade figures of Yuma and Shinigami will be available for 4,800 yen each. In addition, a new Shinigami Nendoroid figure is currently in production. Pre-orders for the new Pop Up Parade figures will go live in July 2023. A release date for the Master Detective Archives: RAIN CODE Pop Up Parade and Nendoroid figures have not been announced. 

    Lastly, Master Detective Archives: RAIN CODE is available now for Nintendo Switch.
