Moreover, Sonic Central 2023 is expected to feature news about the next major update for Sonic Frontiers. The iconic Spin Dash ability return in the second major update for Sonic Frontiers, and fans can expect a Sonic birthday celebration, new Koco, and Open Zone Challenges. The third major update will bring the new story DLC alongside new playable characters such as Knuckles and Tails. Further, writer Ian Flynn returns to write the original story scenario for the new Sonic Frontiers DLC.

Sonic Superstars players will be able to control Sonic, Tails, Knuckles, and Amy Rose across various new stages. These characters may harness all-new Emerald powers to move and attack in “dynamic new ways.” Once more, Sonic and his crew must stop Dr. Eggman’s sinister plans, and the villain is added by Fang and a mysterious new villain. Players may enjoy Sonic Superstars by themselves or with up to 3 other players.
A new trailer for Sonic Superstars was shown at the June 21 Nintendo Direct. The latest trailer reiterates many of the game’s features and content, including the roster of playable characters. Finally, players will have a variety of stages to play through, and each playable characters has unique abilities.
Lastly, Sonic Superstars launches in fall 2023 for Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, and PC via Steam and Epic Games Store.
