    Mario Kart 8 Deluxe Booster Course Pass Wave 5 Launches This Summer

    During today’s Nintendo Direct, Nintendo announced Wave 5 of the Mario Kart 8 Deluxe Booster Course Pass DLC. This wave of content is scheduled to release sometime this Summer.

    The Booster Course Pass DLC is a six-wave DLC pass that brings eight new courses with each release. Additionally, Nintendo has started to add characters recently

    Wave 5 of Mario Kart 8 Deluxe Booster Course Pass DLC Due Out This Summer

    The Booster Course Pass DLC will feature a brand new course called Squeaky Clean Sprint. Additionally, three new characters are being released: Petey Piranha, Kamek, and Wiggler. The Mario Kart 8 Deluxe DLC began releasing last year and is scheduled to wrap up after its sixth release. We only know of one course for Wave 5, so we’ll have to wait until closer to the release to learn more about what this release will consist of. Could we see more fan-favorite courses return?

    Squeaky Clean Sprint, a new course, is racing into Wave 5 of the Mario Kart 8 Deluxe – Booster Course Pass DLC.* More characters are also being added – Petey Piranha, who originally hit the track in Mario Kart: Double Dash!!, Wiggler, from Mario Kart 7, and Kamek, from Mario Kart Tour. Wave 5 zooms onto the Nintendo Switch system this summer. Mario Kart 8 Deluxe – Booster Course Pass includes six separate waves, with eight courses each, which will all be released by the end of 2023.
