Spike Chunsoft announced shipments of Master Detective Archives: RAIN CODE Mysteriful Limited Edition have been delayed to July 14 in North America. The standard physical and digital editions of Master Detective Archives: RAIN CODE are unaffected by this delay.
According to Spike Chunsoft, a setback was encountered during the customs clearance process for the Spirited 6.5″ Shinigami plush, which is one of the key physical goodies featured in the Mysteriful Limited Edition. The customs issue has been resolved, but the setback caused a two week delay. As a result, the Master Detective Archives: RAIN CODE Mysteriful Limited Edition will now be released on July 14. Originally, the Mysteriful Limited Edition was expected to launch alongside the physical standard and digital editions on June 30.
Master Detective Archives: RAIN CODE Mysteriful Limited Edition Shinigami plush
As previously reported, the Mysteriful Limited Edition costs $109.99 and features several physical collectives. Mysteriful Limited Edition contents include the Shinigami plush, outbox with art by Rui Komatsuzaki, Noise of Neon official soundtrack by Masafumi Takada, a SteelBook case, the physical game copy, and The Book of Death art book featuring commentary from Kazutaka Kodaka, Rui Komatsuzaki and Shimadoriru.
“This setback is the result of an unanticipated and unavoidable delay encountered during the customs clearance process of the Spirited 6.5” Shinigami plush,” Spike Chunsoft said in a press release. “This customs issue has now been resolved. The Spike Chunsoft, Inc. team is continuing to work closely with its partners to expedite the release of the Mysteriful Limited Edition.
