Tonight, Capcom confirmed the three featured games for Capcom Showcase 2023 on their official website. There will be more updates and titles in addition to the featured titles. However, the featured games will see the spotlight as they are Capcom’s closest upcoming releases.
Capcom Showcase 2023 Announces Featured Games
The three featured games for Capcom Showcase 2023 are Ghost Trick: Phantom Detective, Exoprimal, and Dragon’s Dogma 2. The company has promised that more titles and updates will be included in the presentation in addition to these featured games.
The showcase was originally announced on the evening of Monday, June 5. It will have a run time of 36 minutes, which is a substantial amount of time. This matches the length of the last Capcom Showcase, which ran for a total of 35 minutes.
Possible Updates and Titles for Capcom Showcase
With this information, we’ve now confirmed Ghost Trick: Phantom Detective, Exoprimal, and Dragon’s Dogma 2. Besides these titles, what else could Capcom show off?
For one, we think Pragmata is a guarantee considering the game is still slated to be released this year. Capcom has to show off this game in some form, even if it is a delay to 2024 (which does seem possible).
Next, a tease of Monster Hunter 6 could also be in the cards. The support for Monster Hunter Rise officially wraps up tomorrow, leaving the future of the series open. With the 20th anniversary of the series set for 2024, this would be the perfect time to tease a new entry for next year.
Finally, a showcase of DLC for Resident Evil 4 seems the most likely out of anything. References to the Separate Ways campaign were found within the files through data mining, which means we’re assuredly seeing that content remade for the recently released Resident Evil 4 remake.
