K Manga Browser Version Now Available, Launch Party Set for June 22


    Kodansha announced the K Manga service is now available on browsers at To commemorate the service’s launch, a K Manga Launch Party will be held on June 22 in Tokyo. Fortunately, fans around the world may tune into an official live stream for the K Manga Launch Party and gain insight into the industry’s leading manga franchises.

    K Manga provides several Kodansha titles to its readers in the U.S., including the latest simulpub chapters and an vast library of complete manga titles. Kodansha plans on expanding the K Manga mobile app’s reach to other countries around the world in the near future. The browser version joins the mobile app in bringing 400 manga titles to readers in the U.S. This extensive library includes the renowned Attack on Titan, Tokyo Revengers, and Fairy Tail manga titles.

    The K Manga Launch Party is set for Thursday, June 22 at 9:00 p.m. EDT. Manga fans can expect giveaways, special guests, and behind-the-scenes footage during the launch party YouTube live stream, which is hosted in English by MC Gino from MyAnimeList JP and YouTubers Gigguk and Reina Scully. Additionally, 16 well-known manga artists will share special illustrations to celebrate the launch of K Manga. Some of the special guests include Fairy Tail manga artist Hiro Mashima and Attack on Titan manga artist Hajime Isayama.

    The Manga Artist Behind the Stories

    Hiro Mashima, manga artist of Fairy Tail, and Reiji Miyajima of “Rent-A-Girlfriend” will be special guests in a live talk session where they will take a closer look at the behind-the-scenes production of their works. Mashima will perform live drawing, which is a must-see for fans of his work. In addition, the event will feature a special, pre-recorded interview with Hajime Isayama, manga artist of Attack on Titan.
