Take-Two to Release ‘Several Groundbreaking Titles’ in Fiscal Year 2025, Likely Grand Theft Auto VI

A potential Grand Theft Auto VI release window.

Take-Two Interactive released its latest financial results, revealing that it will launch “several groundbreaking titles” in fiscal year 2025, which runs from April 2024 to March 2025. The company is expected to earn over $8 billion in net bookings and “set new standards in our industry”. This likely means that the release of Grand Theft Auto VI is planned for fiscal year 2025.

Grand Theft Auto VI Coming Soon?

Take-Two Interactive and Rockstar Games did not directly confirm that Grand Theft Auto VI would release in fiscal year 2025, but it’s one of the biggest titles that the company could possibly offer. The Grand Theft Auto series has produced some of the biggest launch figures in modern gaming, and such a release would warrant a massive increase in annual net bookings. In fiscal year 2024, Take-Two Interactive expects net bookings between $5.45 billion and $5.55 billion. A $3 billion increase is expected in fiscal year 2025 due to the release of “several groundbreaking titles” (Thanks, Gematsu).

“Fiscal 2025 is a highly anticipated year for our company,” Take-Two Interactive said in its financial results. “For the last several years, we have been preparing our business to release an incredibly robust pipeline of projects that we believe will take our company to even greater levels of success.

Take-Two Interactive added, “In fiscal 2025, we expect to enter this new era by launching several groundbreaking titles that we believe will set new standards in our industry and enable us to achieve over $8 billion in net bookings and over $1 billion in adjusted unrestricted operating cash flow. We expect to sustain this momentum by delivering additional growth in our operating results in fiscal 2026 and beyond.”

Although the title has not been confirmed, Grand Theft Auto VI is expected to release alongside a brand-new version of Grand Theft Auto Online. This may also be a factor in driving net bookings over $8 billion in the fiscal year. Grand Theft Auto fans should wait for official information from Take-Two Interactive and Rockstar Games, however.
