Taito and Hamster Corporation announced Taito Milestones 2 launches on August 31 for Nintendo Switch in Japan. The companies also announced more titles for the upcoming collection of classic Taito games from the 1980s and 1990s.
Taito Milestones 2 was developed in collaboration with Hamster Corporation, the company best known for its work on Arcade Archives titles. The arcade game collection will be released for 5,720 yen in Japan physically and digitally, and a partial list of titles were first revealed on April 13. More Taito Milestones 2 titles have been announced since then, however.
Taito announced arcade shoot ’em ups Solitary Fighter and Darius II will be featured among the final list of classic games in Taito Milestones 2. The company also confirmed Taito Milestones 2’s release date of August 31, 2023 in Japan. A worldwide release for Taito Milestones 2 has not been announced at this time.
