Spike Chunsoft revealed several new details about the upcoming release of Master Detective Archives: RAIN CODE and its Season Pass content. Digital pre-orders are available now in the Nintendo eShop, and Spike Chunsoft shares another new trailer for the upcoming detective mystery game.
Season Pass Announced
The Master Detective Archives: RAIN CODE Season Pass includes four DLC packs featuring substories with Master Detectives. Each DLC pack costs $5.00, but players may purchase the Season Pass for $16 to score a discount on all four DLC packs. These four DLC packs will be released monthly from July 2023 to October 2023. Further details about its content was not revealed, however.
Digital Pre-Orders Now Available
Digital pre-orders for Master Detective Archives: RAIN CODE are available now in the Nintendo eShop. Players may pre-order the digital standard edition for $59.99 or the digital deluxe edition for $89.99. Digital deluxe contents include the digital game, The Book of Death digital artbook, Noise of Neon digital soundtrack, and the Season Pass. Moreover, Nintendo Switch users may take advantage of 11% discount on the digital deluxe edition until June 29 at 11:59 p.m. PDT.
All digital pre-orders and and first-print physical copies of Master Detective Archives: RAIN CODE include the digital novel titled How to Be a Master Detective: A Yakou Furio Case. The digital novel provides a Yakou Furio, the head of the Nocturnal Detective Agency. Yoichiro Koizumi wrote the novel with Master Detective Archives: RAIN CODE main scenario writer Kazutaka Kodaka serving as a supervisor.
Spike Chunsoft released a new trailer for Master Detective Archives: RAIN CODE featuring members of the Amaterasu Corporation. Amaterasu Corporation is the megacorporation controlling Kanai Ward, viewing the World Detective Organization as their enemy. The organization is deeply connected in the game’s unsolved cases, which players will explore this June.
