Ryu’s Office revealed its content schedule for INDIE Live Expo 2023, which includes a two-day showcase of upcoming indie games. Fans can expect over 300 games to be featured at this year’s iteration of INDIE Live Expo.
INDIE Live Expo 2023 will be held on Saturday, May 20 to Sunday, May 21 with a plethora of games and announcements. Day 1 will showcase brand new titles and DLC as well as news and updates for current indie games. INDIE Waves returns this year featuring rapid-fire segments highlighting even more new content. Viewers may tune in for special segments like deep dives on games hand-picked by the INDIE Live Expo Organizing Committee. Further, INDIE Studios Around the World returns to shine a spotlight international indie game scenes.
INDIE Live Expo 2023 Day 2 is also known as “The Aftershow” since it will feature long-form let’s play segments. Viewers may enjoy these special live gameplay sessions with popular influencers to see what the world of indie games is all about. Sponsors for INDIE LIVE Expo 2023 include Cygames, Happinet, Preferred Networks, WhisperGames, and many more.
“There were so many entries this year, we were honored that so many indies wanted to participate,” said Ryuta Konuma, Founder, Ryu’s Office. “We are constantly looking for new ways to shine a bigger, brighter spotlight on indie games, and we can’t wait for everyone to take a close look at all of this year’s entries into the show.”
Recently, Nintendo held its own Indie World Showcase features upcoming games like Bomb Rush Cyberfunk, OXENFREE II: Lost Signals, and Blasphemous 2. Five Nights at Freddy’s: Security Breach and Shadows over Loathing are also available now for Nintendo Switch. Players can expect more Nintendo Switch game announcements this May and during the summer.
