The Legend of Heroes: Trails into Reverie Details Features, Mini-Games and More

One of the biggest Trails games ever developed.

NIS America updated its official website for The Legend of Heroes: Trails into Reverie with new details regarding features, the Trails to Walk system, United Fronts, mini-games, and much more. The upcoming release unites heroes from across all of the Trails games for a grand-adventure with three main routes.

    Trails to Walk

In The Legend of Heroes: Trails into Reverie, the main story is divided into three routes for protagonists Rean Schwarzer, Lloyd Bannings, and C. Players may progress through each route as they like within one chapter using the Trails to Walk system. Once all three routes in a given chapter are complete, the next chapter begins. Events seem to change based on the chosen perspective, and some routes may take characters to the same locations. Players can expect several returning characters to appear throughout the story.

    United Fronts

The Legend of Heroes: Trails into Reverie introduces a new feature based on the link system from the prior The Legend of Heroes: Trails of Cold Steel games. When five or more characters are available in the party, players may expend the Assault Gauge to unleash United Fronts. United Fronts includes United Attacks, United Arts, or United Heals, so it’s up to the player to decide based on the battle scenario. Battle Points may also be restored by utilizing United Fronts.

    True Reverie Corridor

During the course of the main story, players will unlock the True Reverie Corridor. The True Reverie Corridor is a massive, randomly generated dungeon that is split into several layers. Progressing through the True Reverie Corridor unlocks useful items and side content. Additionally, players may use special shards earned within the True Reverie Corridor for several upgrades. These upgrades include increases the max amount of support characters and BP and AG points. Benefits acquired from the True Reverie Corridor also apply to the main story in The Legend of Heroes: Trails into Reverie.

    Shuffle Scuffles

Some treasure chests in the True Reverie Corridor are sealed by Void Spires. In order to unlock these treasure chests, players must initiate an all-out battle called the Shuffle Scuffle. Players must select a randomized team outside the current party, prepare them with equipment, and win the battle to destroy the Void Spire and unlock the rewards hidden in the treasure chest.

    Daydreams and Mini-Games

By defeating certain enemies in the True Reverie Corridor, players will earn Sealing Stones. These Sealing Stones may be used to unlock side content separate from the story called Daydreams. These Daydreams include character-related stories and mini-games. These mini-games include Magical☆Alisa LS, Who Wants to Be a Mirannaire?, Beachside Vay-Cay, and Project Tyrfing.
