    Disgaea RPG Global Version Shuts Down on May 12

    In-game purchases will be disabled soon.

    Boltrend Games and Nippon Ichi Software announced the global version of Disgaea RPG is permanently shutting down on May 12, 2023 for Android, iOS, and Steam. The Japanese version will continue its service for the foreseeable future, and the official English website has been shut down.

    In-game purchases in the global version of Disgaea RPG will be disabled permanently on April 19. Players will still be able to use any remaining Nether Quartz before the servers shut down on May 12. A reason for Disgaea RPG’s shutdown was not revealed.

    Disgaea RPG Shutting Down

    Dear Doods,

    It is with great sadness we announce that the game server of Disgaea RPG will be permanently shutting down from May 12th, 2023 (UTC-4). Players will be unable to log into their accounts after that date.

    The in-game purchases and registration will be closed on Apr. 19th, 2023 (UTC-4). Players will still be able to use Nether Quartz until the closure of the game.

    It’s hard to relay the decision, we would like to express our heartfelt gratitude to all of our players. Thank you for your amazing support in Netherworld!
