    Resident Evil 4 Remake ‘The Mercenaries’ DLC Now Available for Free

    Fight against hordes of enemies once more.

    Capcom announced “The Mercenaries” DLC for Resident Evil 4 remake is available now for free on PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC via Steam. To commemorate the launch, Capcom shared a new trailer to share a final glimpse into The Mercenaries before players install the new DLC.

    The Mercenaries DLC in Resident Evil 4 remake allows players to control characters such as Leon and Ada once more against waves of dangerous enemies. This returning mode from the original Resident Evil 4 game has been reimagined for the remake just like the main story. Players may also use new characters that were not playable in the original title. All characters may use Mayhem Mode, which are unique abilities that are new to Resident Evil 4 remake. 

    Before buying Resident Evil 4 remake, players may still try out the Chainsaw demo for free. The Chainsaw demo provides an opportunity for players to adjust to the remake and its controls. A full guide for the Chainsaw demo is available here.
