    Phantasy Star Online 2: New Genesis Chapter 5 Update Available Now

    The fifth story chapter arrives alongside new features.

    A new Phantasy Star Online 2: New Genesis update is available now featuring chapter 5 of the main story scenario. Players will travel to the floating island of Leceil to discover secrets about the world and find Manon. The new update allows players to begin preparing for the April 12 update as well. 

    Chapter 5 Update

    Manon’s whereabouts are unknown in Phantasy Star Online 2: New Genesis, so it’s up to the player and Aina to find her. The latest update for Phantasy Star Online 2: New Genesis brings players to the floating island of Leciel to discover the secrets of Halpha and find Manon. This new update also introduces a variety of improvements and features into Phantasy Star Online 2: New Genesis.

    The new update vastly improves daily and weekly task rewards for all players going forward. Moreover, new quality-of-life improvements have been implemented including extended storage, Mission Pass Storage, adjustable fixed camera zoom, a new Exchange Shop category, and much more. Potential lv.5 unlocks for 7-star and 8-star weapons are now available as well. Phantasy Star Online 2: New Genesis players may also prepare for the arrival of the Slayer class on April 12

    Slayer Class

    To prepare for the launch of the Slayer class update on April 12, players can now get their hands on the new Gunblade weapon category via in-game drops. However, Gunblades can’t be equipped and tasks from Instructor Slaine can’t be accepted until April 12. The new Exchange Shop, Slayer Operation Prep Ticket Exchange are also accessible in the Item Trader. Players can trade for a slew of Gunblades and Weapon Camo using the Slayer Operation Prep Tickets. Further, players can also trade these Tickets for valuable items like Special Scratch Tickets and Arms Refiner II.

    Lastly, Phantasy Star Online 2: New Genesis is available now for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, and PC via Steam, Epic Games Store, and Windows worldwide.
