Nintendo announced classic Nintendo 64 game Pokémon Stadium launches April 12 for Nintendo Switch Online + Expansion Pack. Pokémon Stadium will be available from the Nintendo 64 – Nintendo Switch Online app just like GoldenEye 007.
The Nintendo Switch Online version of Pokémon Stadium includes multiplayer support with up to four players (friends only). Additionally, the game features all 151 Pokémon from Pokémon Red, Blue, and Yellow. However, players are unable to transfer Pokémon from Game Boy titles in this version.
Nintendo Switch Online subscribers may play the latest round of NES, SNES, and Game Boy games by downloading and launching apps. Each classic title supports online play with friends, screenshot captures, and suspend points (save states). Subscribers may upgrade to the Nintendo Switch Online + Expansion Pack tier to receive SEGA Genesis, Nintendo 64, and Game Boy Advance games.
