Grasshopper Manufacture launches a mysterious countdown website to commemorate the company’s 25th anniversary. The countdown starts with 71 and a half days to go with a supposed announcement once the clock strikes zero.
The Grasshopper Manufacture 25th anniversary website is now live with the tagline “Something’s gonna happen” and countdown timer. This countdown timer ends on June 9 at 2:00 a.m. ET, which is right before the traditional E3 week of events. As a result, a major game announcement is expected once the countdown reaches zero.
“Today Grasshopper celebrates our 25th anniversary! Thanks for all your patronage & support, & here’s to 25 more years,” Grasshopper Manufacture said in a tweet, “I’ll never forget that day 25 years ago, even though I joined the company in 2022. So anyways, what’s up with this countdown?”
Possible candidates for the upcoming reveal include a brand-new project funded by NetEase Games, Suda51’s Hotel Barcelona, or an IP revival to name a few. However, nothing has been directly confirmed outside of the countdown timer and a reveal of some kind at the end. Stay tuned at Final Weapon for more news and updates regarding the upcoming Grasshopper Manufacture reveal.
