Blue Protocol Network Test Content Detailed

Network test to be held in Japan only.

Bandai Namco revealed new details about what will be included in the Blue Protocol network test, which goes live on March 31 in Japan. The upcoming network test includes an early portion of the game, allowing players to get a feel of the online RPG before the official launch.

    Network Test Content

During a recent Blue Pro Transmission live stream, Bandai Namco revealed information about what players have access to in the Blue Protocol network test for PC. Chapter 1 of Blue Protocol is available in the network test, and players may level their character up to level 20. Additionally, only four map locations will be available, and the max adventure rank is 4 in network test. On April 1 and April 2, players will receive items via the in-game mail. These items appear to be dyes for the player character and their gear.

Players have access to the Heavy Smasher, Twin Striker, Aegis Fighter, and Blast Archer classes in the network test. Each class has its niche, strengths, and weaknesses in Blue Protocol. For example, the Blast Archer is a class that provides support with arrows and magic from a distance. The Heavy Smasher class is a close-to-medium range fighter with great damage potential (Thanks, Siliconera).

    Benchmark Program

Before the network test begins on March 31, users in Japan may download a benchmark program featuring the game’s character creation system. This benchmark allows players to test their PC specifications before the network test launches. Further, players may transfer their character from the benchmark program into the full game.

As previously reported, the Blue Protocol network test is available in Japan only for PC. Further details about the worldwide release and a potential global network test were not revealed. Currently, the worldwide release is slated for 2023 across PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X|S.

Lastly, Blue Protocol releases in spring 2023 for PC in Japan.
