Bandai Namco released a brand-new Tekken 8 gameplay trailer showcasing Marshall Law, a returning martial artist from prior Tekken games. The spirit of Bruce Lee is still alive with the latest addition to the Tekken 8 roster.
The current roster of Tekken 8 includes Kazuya Mishima, Jun Kazama, Jin Kazama, Lars, Jack-8, Nina Williams, Paul Phoenix, and King alongside Marshall Law. All of Tekken 8’s characters have access to the new Heat System, which triggers powerful attacks and enhancements for certain abilities. Bandai Namco plans to reveal more information about Tekken 8, including more new characters, at a later date.

Before the release of Tekken 8, Tekken World Tour 2023 will be the final major tournament series for Tekken 7. The international offline tournament series will come to multiple tournaments around the world including EVO Japan. In fact, EVO Japan 2023 will be the first stop of Tekken World Tour 2023, taking place on March 31 to April 2 from the Tokyo Big Sight venue.
Challenger events are back for Tekken World Tour 2023, bringing community events into the spotlight with the potential of becoming future Master events. Additionally, Dojo events will return, allowing individual tournament organizers to apply as an official offline event. More details about the upcoming tournament series will be revealed at a later date on the official website.
Lastly, Tekken 8 is currently in development for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC via Steam.
