More retail copies on the way.

Nintendo confirms that it will be restocking Metroid Prime Remastered physical copies due to high demand at retailers. Metroid Prime Remastered appears to be a strong seller at retail and digitally via the Nintendo eShop.

The physical edition of Metroid Prime Remastered for Nintendo Switch is currently sold out at many retailers in North America and Europe. Additionally, scalpers have begun to relist the game well over the original MSRP of $39.99. Fortunately, Nintendo is well aware of the strong demand for Metroid Prime Remastered.

Nintendo sent an official statement to Nintendo Life, confirming the company’s plans to restock Metroid Prime Remastered physical copies at retail due to strong demand. The company will work to provide many more copies as soon as possible. In the meantime, Nintendo encourages fans to check retailers for availability.

Here’s what Nintendo had to say via Nintendo Life:

“We will do everything we can to meet the strong demand for the product. Please continue to check with major retailers for availability. If the Metroid Prime Remastered game sells out at various retail locations in the U.S., we will work to provide more units as soon as possible.”
