The Tri-Slosher is back as the newly designed Tri-Slosher Nouveau. This version comes with Fizzy Bombs and the Tacticooler special. Additionally, the Neo Sploosh-o-matic appears in Splatoon 3 Fresh Season. This model of the Sploosh-o-matic specializes in close quarters combat with the Squid Beakons sub weapon and Killer Wail 5.1 special.

Fans may also look forward to playing Tableturf Battle online for the very first time. Up to 10 players may join a room to play Tableturf Battle (8 players in the Shoal). Further, 23 new Tableturf Battle cards are being added in Fresh Season.

The Manta Maria map returns to Splatoon 3 once Fresh Season kicks off. Nintendo warns players that Inklings and Octolings can’t swim, so the fights should stick to the boat itself.

The Neo Splash-o-matic brings rapid fire action to Splatoon 3 soon. This weapon is equipped with signature Suction Bombs sub weapons and the Triple Inkstrike special. Players may also look forward to the Custom Jet Squelcher, a limited edition Jet Squelcher with a Poison Mist sub weapon and Ink Storm special.

Nintendo reveals a new map coming to Splatoon 3 on March 1: Um’ami Ruins. Um’ami Ruins is an ancient site with mysterious artifacts implying a prehistoric Turf War took place long ago.

The L-3 Nozzlenose returns as the L-3 Nozzlenose D. The new version comes with Burst Bombs sub weapons and the Ultra Stamp special weapon. Splatoon 3 players may also look forward to the Rapid Blaster Deco, a “cosmetic twist” on the original Rapid Blaster. The Rapid Blaster Deco comes equipped with the Torpedo sub weapon and Ink Jet special weapon.

Zekko and Firefin brings precision weapons to Splatoon 3 Fresh Season with the Z+F Splat Charger and Z+F Splatterscope. These long range weapons both come equipped with the Splash Wall sub and Triple Inkstrike special weapons.

The new Super Chump Special will make short work of campers that happen to be near one of a player’s Super Jump spots. This special launches decoys that look like Super Jump landing spots, only to explode shortly after deployment.

The N-ZAP returns as the N-ZAP ’89 in Splatoon 3 Fresh Season. N-ZAP ’89 comes equipped with the Autobomb sub weapon and aforementioned Super Chump special weapon. This loadout is designed for fast paced movement and quick splats according to Nintendo.

Additionally, the Clash Blaster weapon returns as the Clash Blaster Neo. Players should be pleased to know that this weapon comes equipped with the Super Chump special weapon as well.

The Kraken Royale is a newly revamped special being introduced in Splatoon 3 Fresh Season. Compared to its original Splatoon version, the Kraken Royale features a new charge attack with one-hit splat potential by holding and releasing the ZR button. Players may also jump to trigger a wide-ranging spin move. A player who activates and deactivates the Kraken Royale will be briefly vulnerable. However, the player will be completely invincible while traversing as the giant squid.

Splatoon 3 Fresh Season introduces the Krak-On Splat Roller, which is a unique collaboration roller by Krak-On. This new roller comes equipped with the Squid Beakon sub weapon to help the team “zip into the heart of action.” Further, the Krak-On Splat Roller also features the powerful Kraken Royale special mentioned previously.

The classic .96 Gal weapon returns as the newly redesigned .96 Gal Deco in Splatoon 3. This powerful weapon has long range capabilities while being able to provide support with the Splash Wall sub weapon. Additionally, the .96 Gal Deco also comes equipped with the Kraken Royale special according to Nintendo.
Lastly, Splatoon 3 is available now for Nintendo Switch, and Fresh Season begins on March 1, 2023.
