Nintendo have announced the long-awaited Nintendo Direct is set for February 8 at 2 p.m. PST featuring new game announcements for Nintendo Switch.
According to Nintendo, the February 8 Nintendo Direct lasts roughly 40 minutes with information mostly focused on Nintendo Switch games for the first half of 2023. However, games for the second half of 2023 are expected to be shown as well. Like previous Nintendo Directs, fans may tune into the showcase through Nintendo’s official YouTube and Twitch channels.

Currently, Nintendo’s lineup of announced games includes The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom, Pikmin 4, Kirby’s Return to Dreamland, and Advance Wars 1+2: Reboot Camp. Speculation currently points toward a release date or immediate release of Advance Wars 1+2: Reboot Camp.
Third-party titles coming soon to Nintendo Switch in 2023 includes Octopath Traveler II, The Legend of Heroes: Trails to Azure, The Legend of Heroes: Trails into Reverie, Theatrhythm: Final Bar Line, Atelier Ryza 3: The Alchemist of the End & the Secret Key, and much more. The February 8 Nintendo Direct will reveal many more third-party games for Nintendo Switch.
The Nintendo Switch Online + Expansion service is expected to receive more Nintendo 64 and SEGA Genesis games in 2023. Further, Nintendo Switch Game Vouchers have returned for all Nintendo Switch Online members, and more benefits may come soon.
