Bandai Namco Hiring for 3D Action Game with Nintendo

The mysterious project continues to hire.

It seems that Bandai Namco is hiring once again for a 3D action game, which is in collaboration with Nintendo. Last April, we reported on a job listing from Bandai Namco that involved “HD Remastering” of specific backgrounds and other assets. It was noted that working back and forth closely with contractors was a part of this project, alongside utilizing an in-house engine. This listing was also involving Nintendo, meaning that most likely this new listing is about the same project.

The new job listing that was recently posted can be found here, which details requirements such as Unreal experience. The job itself is for a game or level designer, specifically for this Nintendo-commissioned action game.

For those unfamiliar with the history of Bandai Namco and Nintendo, Bandai was a huge part of the development force behind Super Smash Bros. for Wii U/3DS, as well as Super Smash Bros. Ultimate. Additionally, the company was the original developer behind the upcoming Metroid Prime 4, before it got pulled and sent over to Retro Studios in Austin, Texas.
