The Game Awards was crashed by none other than by that rambunctious Bandicoot. Crash Team Rumble is new 4 v 4 team multiplayer game featuring the cast of the Crash Bandicoot series. Headed by Toys For Bob, the team behind Crash 4: It’s About Time, you can expect a madcap multiplayer experience.
Toy For Bob has provided a description of the game on their official website: “Crash Team Rumble is a 4V4 Team-Based Competition where the iconic heroes and villains of the Crash universe battle to capture more wumpa fruit than the other to claim victory. Each hero has unique skills and abilities to strategically use to work together to battle the opposing team, defend their wumpa bank, and capture key points around the map to help their team.”
Crash Team Rumble reminds me of some of the old Crash Spin-off games. The game has a diverse cast of heroes and villains from the series that are both old and new. Each character seems to have unique abilities as the trailer shows off a handful of playable characters. If you enjoyed Toys For Bob’s previous Crash outings then I think you will not be disappointed.
Crash’s new team based adventure will be launching on the PS5, PS4, and Xbox platforms in 2023.
