Megaton Musashi X Delayed to December 16 in Japan, PS5 Version Announced

    PS5 version reappears.

LEVEL-5 has delayed Megaton Musashi X from its previously announced December 8 release date to December 16. Moreover, Megaton Musashi X is coming to PlayStation 5 alongside the Nintendo Switch and PlayStation 4 versions.

The third consecutive delay comes after Megaton Musashi X was delayed to coincide with the anime’s second season. The second season faced production delays, which affects the game since the two are linked. According to LEVEL-5, the delay was necessary to adjust game systems linked to the anime.

As previously announced, Megaton Musashi X features the prior Megaton Musashi game and all of its post-launch updates. Users who purchased Megaton Musashi may purchase an exclusive items set for 100 yen. Further, the upcoming release features new story content, mechanics, and mechs.

Megaton Musashi X launches December 16 for Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, and PlayStation 5 in Japan. A worldwide release has not been announced.
