Giacomo is the Dark-type Team Star Leader of Pokémon Scarlet and Violet. Their recommended level is Level 21. Be sure to have a team with Pokémon around that level and some fighting and bug types.

- Pawniard: Lvl 21- Type: Steel/Dark – Moves: Metal Claw, Fury Cutter, Aerial Ace
Tactics
Fairy does beat dark-type, but Pawniard’s steel typing and Metal Claw attack will cut your Fairy Pokémon down. Bringing fairy Pokémon into this battle is ill-advised. A fighting-type Pokemon will net you four times super-effectiveness, but Pawniard’s Aerial Ace could knock out your fighting Pokémon. Aerial Ace will also double down and squash any bug Pokemon you may throw out as well. Basically, Giacomo smartly picked out his single Pokémon’s moves. Be sure to strike swiftly and surely. I’d also recommend carrying some healing items with you just to be on the safe side. All that’s left is to defeat Revavroom in order to trash the car. It’s a Dark type so just throw some fighting type moves at it until its big health bar is depleted.
