Deep Silver announced tonight that Dead Island 2 has been delayed to April 28, 2023. This news comes just as the game was set to release February 3, 2023. Deep Silver stated “we’re going to take the time we need to make sure we launch a game we’re proud of” in the statement provided.

Additionally, the developers announced that a presentation entitled Dead Island 2 – Showcase will air on December 6th. This showcase will reveal brand new trailers and gameplay for the long awaited title. Even though Dead Island 2 is delayed, fans will at least get to see much more footage soon.
