Team Water Flawlessly Wins the Splatoon 3 x Pokémon Splatfest

A flawless victory for Water Pokémon.

The Splatoon 3 collaborative Splatfest with Pokémon concluded with Team Water coming out on top with 45 points, a flawless score.

The Splatoon 3 x Pokémon Splatfest began on November 11, pitting starter Grass, Fire, and Water types against each other. The Splatfest lasted until November 13, and Team Water was determined the winner with 45 points. Nintendo revealed the results via the official Splatoon Twitter account, briefly recapping the in-game announcement to end the Splatfest.

Team Water’s flawless win means Teams Grass and Fire were completely decimated as the losing teams failed to score any points. Big Man represented Team Water whereas Shiver and Frye represented Team Grass and Team Fire respectively.

The Splatfest ended just five days away from the launch of Pokémon Scarlet and Violet for Nintendo Switch. Sprigatito, Fuecoco, and Quaxly are the respective Grass, Fire, and Water starter Pokémon for the ninth generation.

Splatoon 3 is available now for Nintendo Switch. Nintendo will likely share details about the game’s next Splatfest will likely come after the release of Pokémon Scarlet and Violet.

Pokémon Scarlet and Violet launches November 18 for Nintendo Switch. Pokémon GO will add link support with Pokémon Scarlet and Violet in 2023.
