    Pokémon Scarlet and Violet to support link feature with Pokémon GO in 2023

    The Pokémon Company announced Pokémon Scarlet and Violet to support the link feature with Pokémon GO starting in 2023.

    Pokémon GO players that use the linking feature with Pokémon Scarlet and Violet will be able to capture Gimmighoul (Roaming Form) next year. Pokémon Scarlet and Violet players may capture Chest Form Gimmighoul starting on launch day. Additionally, Pokémon Scarlet and Violet gains link support with Pokémon HOME after the launch on November 18. More details about the link feature will be announced at a later date.

    In 2023, Pokémon Scarlet and Pokémon Violet will be linked with Pokémon GO!

    The Nintendo Switch games Pokémon Scarlet and Pokémon Violet—slated for release on Friday, November 18, 2022—will link with Pokémon GO!

    Linking these games will allow you to catch Gimmighoul (Roaming Form) in Pokémon GO.

    This feature is planned for 2023, so stay tuned for future announcements with more details!

    Pokémon in Pokémon GO can’t be sent directly to Pokémon Scarlet and Pokémon Violet.
