R-Type Tactics developer Granzella announced enhanced shoot ’em up R-Type Final 3 Evolved launches in March 2023 for PlayStation 5.
The new R-Type title is based on R-Type Final 2 with upgraded visuals. Additionally, the new title features seven exclusive stages, over 100 playable ships, PlayStation VR2 support for takeoff scenes, “metaverse spaces” for online multiplayer, and mini-games. The latest issue of Weekly Famitsu provided an overview of the game according to Ryokutya2089.

R-Type Final 3 Evolved, the ultimately evolved side-view shooter, is now available on PlayStation 5!
In addition to the stages included in R-Type Final 2, new stages have been made available! More than 20 stages, including those from the previous series, are available for play.
It also features a virtual reality launch sequence mode to experience a launch demo scene in virtual reality.
It has a metaverse space in which players can exchange strategies and enjoy mini-games. It also serves as a lobby for the competition mode, where you can compete with multiple players for scores.
