NetEase Games announced the acquisition of Quantic Dream, the developers behind Heavy Rain and Detroit: Become Human.
Quantic Dream will become NetEase Games’ first studio based in Europe according to the press release. The studio will continue to be led by David Cage and Guillaume de Fondaumière. Additionally, Quantic Dream continues to operate dependently while leveraging “significant game development capabilities” under NetEase Games.
