Phantasy Star Online 2: New Genesis to collaborate with Melty Blood: Type Lumina

    A brand-new collaboration coming soon.

    SEGA and Type-Moon announced a new collaboration between Phantasy Star Online 2: New Genesis and Melty Blood: Type Lumina.

    The collaboration will likely feature Melty Blood: Type Lumina inspired content within Phantasy Star Online 2: New Genesis. More details will be announced at a later date according to Type-Moon.

    Additionally, Type-Moon announced DLC characters Mash Kyrielight from Fate/Grand Order and Neco-Arc are coming to Melty Blood: Type Lumina for free. The next two DLC characters releasing in winter 2022 will also be free. New scenarios, character stories, stages, and more are coming soon through updates.

    Phantasy Star Online 2: New Genesis receives a major update on August 3 with the new Waker class, additional side content, and new features. Furthermore, the game hosts a collaboration with Hololive Production at a later date. The collaboration features Shirakami Fubuki, Ninomae Ina’nis, and Kageyama Shien. NGS VTubers Sabakuro and Popona join as well.

    Phantasy Star Online 2: New Genesis is available now for PC (Epic Games Store, Steam, Windows), Xbox One, and Xbox Series X|S in the west. The PlayStation 4 version releases August 31 worldwide.

    Lastly, Melty Blood: Type Lumina is available now for Nintendo Switch, PC via Steam, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One.
