Ys X information teased for July 7 issue of Famitsu

The July 7 issue of Famitsu teases new information regarding the next major Ys title, commonly referred to as Ys X. An interview with Falcom president Toshihiro Kondo will be published in the new issue as part of a feature celebrating the Ys series 35th anniversary.

Here is the feature’s description from the official Kadokawa store:

[Feature] In celebration of the Ys franchise’s 35th anniversary, we’re planning to look back on and reminisce over the series’ impact and history alongside some key visuals, from Ys I to Ys IX. Furthermore, an interview with Falcom’s own Toshihiro Kondo, where we’ll learn more about the series’ next entry!?

Previously, Kondo mentioned Falcom was preparing for various developments for the Ys series. A new Ys title is confirmed to be in development with new elements to innovate the series. Hopefully, the July 7 issue of Famitsu and Kondo offer insight into Ys X and development.
