In Famitsu’s year-end developer interviews for 2021, Falcom president Toshihiro Kondo reiterated his plans for the Ys 35th Anniversary coming up in 2022. Previously, Kondo mentioned preparations being made for the Ys series during a shareholders meeting. Kondo wishes fans to look forward to the new year as “various developments are prepared for the Ys series, which will celebrate its 35th anniversary” in 2022. Fans should expect merchandise, a possible game announcement and more from Falcom to celebrate the occasion. The Legend of Heroes: Kuro no Kiseki II -CRIMSON SiN- also releases next year for PS4 and PS5 in Japan.
