Genshin Impact version 2.7 ‘Phase I’ events detailed

HoYoverse revealed new details about Genshin Impact version 2.7 events in ‘Phase I’ of the new update. Each version usually features two phases of events and content before the next version is set for a reveal. Version 2.7 continues the story from where it left off in The Chasm, a once mysterious region in Liyue. Archon Quest Interlude Chapter: Act II “Perilous Trail” unlocks as The Chasm is gradually being reopened for visitors.

Yelan also makes her debut as a playable character with the “Discerner of Enigmas” event wish. Her debut is accompanied by her “Umbrabilis Orchis Chapter” story chapter. In addition, Xiao makes his return with the reprised “Invitation to Mundane Life” event wish. Yanfei, Noelle, and Barbara also receive boosted drop rates in both event wishes. The Epitome Invocation event wish is refreshed with new weapons such as the Aqua Simulacra bow.

The new “Perilous Trail” event will make its debut with Genshin Impact version 2.7. In this event, players must investigate mysteries of The Chasm and complete challenges for various rewards. One of these rewards includes the new Fading Twilight bow. Other rewards include Primogems, Mora, Hero’s Wit, materials and more. To access all the events in Genshin Impact version 2.7, it’s recommended that players catch up with previous story chapters and content. By then, a sufficient Adventure Rank will be met for newer content to come.

Genshin Impact is available now for PS4, PS5, iOS, Android, PC via Windows and Epic Games Store. Genshin Impact version 2.7 releases on May 31st. Lastly, a Switch version is currently in active development.
