Cygames filed a new trademark for Akiba Maid War in Japan as of May 10th. The trademark was made public on May 17th. In addition, the domain name AkibaMaidWar.jp was registered on May 12th according to Gematsu. Cygames is seemingly preparing for an announcement of Akiba Maid War considering the trademark, logo, and domain registration.
The company recently launched a new collaboration with Final Fantasy XI in the widely popular Granblue Fantasy mobile game. Granblue Fantasy also surpassed 32 million registered players worldwide across the iOS, Android, and Google Chrome web browser versions.
