Brief outline of the game
Online shooter game in which characters from the Resident Evil universe visit locations from the survival horror series to compete in death matches.
Content specific issues
This game features strong violence involving both human and fantasy characters. Violence can be inflicted using fists, teeth and claws, as well as a variety of weapons, including guns and rocket launchers. Characters may be pinned down or restrained and then repeatedly hit or stamped upon. While attacks do not generally show strong injury detail, they do feature copious bloodshed. Some attacks are more graphic than others, including a character being impaled and then lifted into the air while kicking and screaming. Mutant characters may explode into blood and chunks of flesh.
Other issues
This game offers players the opportunity to purchase in-game items. Some of these are purely cosmetic, such as new costumes, whereas others are performance-enhancing and increase your score. Some parents or carers may want to be aware of these. Parents, carers, or other responsible adults should check to see what is being offered before making any purchase on behalf of a child. It should be noted that the game can still be played without the need to purchase such items.
It’s been a long time since Capcom provided an update about Resident Evil Re:Verse. However, the time could be drawing near for news as summer approaches. The online game could finally return during events such as Summer Game Fest or Xbox & Bethesda Games Showcase.
