Nintendo shared another update for Splatoon 3, which focuses on charger weapons found in-game. Charger weapons build up power for a stronger shot. By holding ZR, a powerful shot may be charged up to hit targets at long distance. Nintendo also introduced the Splat Charger, Classic Squiffer, and E-liter 4k.
Check out a few of the charger weapons found in Splatoon 3 below:
This is the Splat Charger, a balanced weapon with good range and medium charge time. Our game-theory experts say that if you can attain the high ground with one of these, you're "going to go all splat-a-tat-tat on the other team." Is game theory science? We're no longer sure. pic.twitter.com/tGvalhPBBA

Finally, we have the E-liter 4k. This is the granddaddy of the chargers—a weapon with massive range that takes a long time to charge and consumes tremendous amounts of ink. It's not for everyone, but in the right hands, it can be devastating. pic.twitter.com/Hhg6KKJ50Y

As a reminder, all basic weapons from previous Splatoon games are making a return. The new game looks to have a seriously impressive and powerful arsenal. Players also have the option to customize their own title and banner. More titles are unlocked through Turf Wars and actions throughout the game. Lastly, Splatoon 3 releases on September 9th for Switch worldwide.
