Genshin Impact version 2.6 ‘Phase III’ detailed following version 2.7 delay

HoYoverse shared new details about Genshin Impact version 2.6 following the recent delay of version 2.7. The version enters an unprecedented ‘Phase III” as various events are extended. Kamisato Ayaka’s “The Heron’s Court” event wish, Epitome Invocation and the current Test Run event continues on to an unspecified date. Further details including the new end date will be announced at a later date.

The “Spices from the West” event begins on May 14th as players help Nazafarin conduct research by making spices and seasonings. Rewards during the event include Primogems, Hero’s Wit, Weapon Ascension Materials, and Mora. The new event lasts until June 7th and players must be Adventure Rank 20 or higher to participate.

The ongoing coronavirus pandemic and lockdown restrictions in China affected development of version 2.7. As a result, development is slowing down temporarily as HoYoverse prioritizes the safety of their employees at their studio. The special program for the new update was also postponed. More details about Genshin Impact version 2.7 are coming in the near future.

Lastly, Genshin Impact is available now for PS4, PS5, iOS, Android, PC via Windows, and Epic Games Store worldwide. Stay tuned at Final Weapon for the latest gaming news and updates!
