The latest issue of Famitsu featured Fire Emblem Warriors: Three Hopes with new details focusing on classes, Combat Arts, Personal Skills and much more (Thanks, BlackKite). In case you missed it, some new details about the story were shared here.
Each character in Fire Emblem Warriors: Three Hopes has a preferred class with some classes being character exclusive. For instance, Shez has access to the Fleugel exclusive class. More examples include Hilda as a Brigand, Dedue as an Armored Knight and Hubert as a Dark Mage. Each of these characters and classes have their own Personal Skills such as Hilda’s thunder element attacks.
Characters may learn new Combat Arts and Magic by raising their class level with a different set to learn from the respective classes. The cost of using these abilities in battle are points from weapon durability. Similar to Fire Emblem: Three Houses, each character has their strong suits and role that will synergize with a specific class. The aforementioned exclusive classes comes into play here.
Character support levels return along with support conversations. They will also add more to stat buffs from attaching Adjutants. Sidequests in the game reward additional amounts to interactions and training sessions during a turn. To further improve support between characters, they may be sent out on jobs similar to those found in Fire Emblem: Three Houses. Each character may excel in a specific job too.
Shez may eat meals with two other characters. Each meal may provide different buffs and boost morale. By boosting morale, characters in the field will do more damage in battle. There are a lot of similarities to Three Houses with the features detailed so far. It should be a streamlined experience for returning players while providing a ton of new content and gameplay experiences to explore.
