Square Enix announced that the Final Fantasy XIV free trial resumes normal operations starting February 22nd! Previously, the free trial was inaccessible to anyone interested in trying FFXIV for the first time. This was due to massive player congestion and resulted in a temporary halt of FFXIV digital sales, free trials and advertising. Thankfully, things are getting back to normal for FFXIV and it means new players can join in on the fun. Server expansions are planned throughout 2022 and beyond.
