Koei Tecmo announced that Dynasty Warriors Online Z ends service on February 24th 2022 in Japan. The online Musou game first launched in 2007 as Dynasty Warriors Online for PC and underwent various overhauls for later console releases. These consoles include PS3, PS Vita and PS4. Starting January 20th, Musou Coin in-game currency will be discontinued and refunds for unused currency begin processing on February 24th. By May 26th, all refunds should be processed.
The newest game in the series, Dynasty Warriors 9 Empires, releases February 15th 2022 for PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, Switch and Steam in the west. Stay tuned at Final Weapon for the latest Japanese gaming news and updates!
