Konami reveals new Bemani game DANCE aROUND for Japanese arcades

Konami announced a new arcade rhythm game in the Bemani series! DANCE aROUND is a successor to DanceEvolution which went offline from arcades back in 2016. The new game also features anime and mascot avatars instead of realistic models from DanceEvolution. In addition, DANCE aROUND features two styles: Normal and Performance. Normal mode features the avatar performing properly as the player follows along. Performance mode puts focus on the player as their avatar mimics their moves for the dance.

Players in Japan will be able to try out the new game starting November 13rd at the Round One Stadium Sennichimae in Osaka. More details including illustrations, how-to-play instructions and more are available here. Stay tuned at Final Weapon for the latest Japanese gaming news and updates!
