Niantic and The Pokemon Company have announced that Halloween festivities return to Pokemon GO starting October 15th! Players will be able to earn Halloween themed rewards, costumes and themed Pokemon soon. Additionally, the Season of Mischief story continues as more psychic, ghost and dark type Pokemon appear in the wild. More details including raids and encounters during the Halloween period are available here. Lastly, the Halloween event lasts until Halloween night on October 31st.
