In the latest issue of Famitsu, Square Enix celebrated the 20th Anniversary of Final Fantasy X. The issue featured interviews from developers of the game including Tetsuya Nomura. According to Nomura, Kazushige Nojima has written a rough outline of Final Fantasy X-3. The chances of the sequel happening are “not 0” but Final Fantasy VII Remake remains the focus for now according to Motomu Toriyama. It seems like FFX-3 is a project that Square Enix has in mind but needs the right time to develop it. With the current development cycle of FFVII Remake Part 2 and Final Fantasy Origin, fans will have to wait a while for the possibility.
